ISTE Portfolio

Hi! My name is Sara. I am currently a student at Utah Valley University studying to become an elementary teacher. Until then I work as a temporary crossing guard for the city of Springville and as a lunch lady for UCAS. I have three children, my two boys are 15 and 8 and my only daughter is 11.

I married my best friend who I met online in 2008, I lived in Idaho while he was lived Utah. We were both studying for computer science. He graduated as a computer engineer from Utah Valley University and I relocated to Utah to be with him. Now we live in Springville. My husband and I love to travel, some of our favorite places include Jamaica, Mexico and the Bahamas. We enjoy scuba diving and are both licensed to use ham radio.

I have a passion for my community. I participated in girl scouts for my neighborhood and volunteer at my kids schools. I love people, especially children and am very excited to be a teacher. Here are some of my resources that I am learning about during my schooling.
